Today we continue to look at the number of missionaries and missions one can give to through ‘faith promise giving’ at Liberty Life. Last week we focused on Open Bible missionaries. Today we will look at non open bible missions and ministries.
I read an article lately about a couple who were no longer satisfied with what they called ‘passive giving’. They wrote, “It’s too easy to just drop a check in the offering plate when it passes by and expect someone else to put that money to work for God’s kingdom.”
To be actively involved in what God’s doing, they prayed for where and to whom God wanted them to give so the funds could be designated as the Lord was leading them to give.
Although you can give the faith promise giving amount you had laid on your heart to general missions and let the church do the designating, I encourage you to be active in your giving to missions at Liberty Life. Become familiar with all of our mission outreaches available to us, pray, and then each month, designate your faith promise gifts. In doing so you will connect yourself more personally and find greater reward!
