Today I will ask you to begin seeking the Lord for how He would use you to support missions in 2022. Last year we introduced ‘faith promise’ giving at Liberty Life Center and our giving to missions increased exponentially. In 2020 we gave approximately $14,000 to missions but in 2021 the total was $42,000! Praise the Lord!
And as we have given, the Lord has truly blessed Liberty Life financially as our offerings exceeded our goals and resources are now available to do ministry more fully. Our paid staff has grown by 3 and we are breaking new ground in media, outreach, worship and, of course, missions.
Today, we will look at our mission work with Open Bible and next week we will focus on local and non-Open Bible missions.
Faith promise giving, as stated in its title, is giving by faith. This is a means whereby each individual in the church can make a promise to the Lord, by faith, that he or she will give a personal offering on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or lump sum basis for missions. Faith promises are above regular tithes and offerings for the local church use. These mission offerings can be specifically designated to a particular mission or missionary, or a general offering can be made. Look over the Faith Promise Card today and begin praying.
