And He called the twelve to Himself and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. So they went out and preached that people should repent. – Mark 6:7, 12
After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. The He said to them, ” The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” – Luke 10:1-2
Missionary work is an integral part of our beliefs at Liberty Life. We base our beliefs on the Word of God, the Bible. In the Bible it tells of Jesus constantly moving around and ministering to all kinds of people. Jesus did not say, “ministering in strange places is too scary so I think I will stay at home.” He was continually traveling and ministering. Then He sent His disciples out to continue the same work. In Mark it says, ” they went out and preached so people would repent.” Then in John, Jesus said,” The harvest is truly great but the laborers are few.” The same is true today. There is a great need for the Word of God all over the world, with so few people to fill that need.
Liberty Life has the privilege to support and participate in missionary work all over the world and we pray the Spirit will lead a great many “laborers to the harvest.” Here are the missions we support.

Christians supporting Israel and building relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world.
It is our desire to see Christians and Jews working side by side for better understanding and a more secure Israel.
Founded in 1976, Bridges for Peace seeks to be a ministry of hope and reconciliation. Through programs both in Israel and worldwide, we are giving Christians the opportunity to actively express their biblical responsibility before God to be faithful to Israel and the Jewish community.
For too long Christians have been silent. For too long the Jewish community has had to fight its battles alone. It is time Christian individuals and congregations speak up for the people who gave us the Bible.
Often you will see one of their publications, Dispatch from Jerusalem, in the lobby. Visit their website for more information. Bridges for Peace
Our vision is a community of resilient and virtuous people whose lives have been redeemed and restored by God’s love, and who share that love with others to transform and restore lives to wholeness.

Nelson & Tirsa Gaitán – Nicaragua
Nelson and Tirsa Gaitan have served in their native country of Nicaragua since February of 2003. Since then they established the Open Bible headquarters church in San Marcos and launched five other Open Bible Churches, in Managua, Ochomogo, San Cayentano, San Jorge, and Las Pilas.
Nelson and Tirsa have a deep burden to disciple people and prepare leaders and pastors. For this reason, INSTE is integral to their ministry. One of the key components of their ministry success is their outreaches, such as evangelistic campaigns, distribution of humanitarian aid, feeding kitchen programs, VBS outreaches, and meeting the needs of others in their community. Please pray for the Gaitans and their ministry.
Ron Wilson is a volunteer missionary raising funds to build churches where there are no other Christian churches in India, Uganda, and Cuba. His project fund also builds orphanages, digs fresh water wells, develops milk herds, gardens, and chickens to support the orphanages.
Mission Description: We are privileged to raise funds to help with basic needs of orphanages, pastors, and churches in several countries. For example, after a church and an orphanage is built in India, we help them by digging a freshwater well, which will also benefits their community, and we help them be more self-sufficient by providing a cow and a calf. Orphanages in Uganda benefit by receiving a well, or a pair of goats or two pairs of chickens.
IPU – Intensive Prayer Unit
The letters in the IPU stand for Intensive Prayer Unit, and idea taken from hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. The vision for the IPU is to be able to take in for short stays those in need of healing, peace therapy, detoxing, and any other form of restoration. The IPU is located on the 3rd floor of The Shepherd’s Place Christian Bookstore. The unit has a full kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities and individual sleep rooms. The atmosphere is highly guarded from outside media that could disrupt the healing process. There have been several women use the IPU with results in change of countenance and level of peace. Pray, worship, soaking in scripture are all a part of the healing process. Please feel free to stop by and take a tour. A new “crows nest’ has been built in the skylight as a place to get away and have solitude.
