Sunday Nurture Classes at 9:30AM
Come join these adult/youth nurture classes which include:
Beginning June 7
1) Christianity, Cults and Religion – Christians need to know what they believe. This 6-session DVD-based curriculum studies the differences between Christianity and various religious groups. This excellent study teaches what the Bible says about God, Jesus, salvation, life after death, and more. It covers Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam in depth. The series helps participants understand basic Christian beliefs, know why cultic groups are attractive, learn what motivates each group, and why it is important to have a biblically based answer for what we believe about Jesus Christ. It also covers the do’s and don’ts of talking with people of other religions in a loving way.
2) Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God, by Henry Blackaby, is a true classic in bible studies. It is based on seven Scriptural realities that teach us how to develop a true relationship with the Creator. This class will use DVD lessons followed by facilitated discussion.
3) Prayer and Intercession – Join with other intercessors in praying for the church, the worship service, and prayer requests.
