And He called the twelve to Himself and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. So they went out and preached that people should repent. – Mark 6:7, 12
After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. The He said to them, ” The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” – Luke 10:1-2
Missionary work is an integral part of our beliefs as born again believers. We base our beliefs on the Word of God, the Bible. In the Bible it tells of Jesus constantly moving around and ministering to all kinds of people. Jesus did not say, ministering in strange places is too scary so I think I will stay at home. He was continually traveling and ministering. Then He sent His disciples out to continue the same work. In Mark it says, ” they went out and preached so people would repent.” Then in John Jesus said,” The harvest is truly great but the laborers are few.” The same is true today. There is a great need for the Word of God all over the world, with so few people to fill that need.
Liberty Life has the privilege to support and participate in missionary work all over the world and we pray the Spirit will lead a great many “laborers to the harvest.” Here are the missions we support.

Applewood Christian School
Several members of LLC have been involved with Applewood Christian School (ACS) over the years. The Mission statement for ACS is “The purpose of Applewood Christian School (ACS) is to provide a sound academic education imparted through a Biblical World View.” The following is an excerpt of the ACS Vision: “Because the Christian approach to learning differs significantly from the secular viewpoint, ACS offers a curriculum rooted in a God-centered view of life. This view holds that God’s truth is the standard for all truth. The Applewood faculty consists of individuals who are called to teach Christian-based curriculum which allows parents to provide academic instruction consistent with the Christ-centered teaching received at home and at church.“ The education of the youth is critical and makes ACS a great local mission for LLC to support.
Bridges for Peace
Christians supporting Israel and building relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world.
It is our desire to see Christians and Jews working side by side for better understanding and a more secure Israel.
Founded in 1976, Bridges for Peace seeks to be a ministry of hope and reconciliation. Through programs both in Israel and worldwide, we are giving Christians the opportunity to actively express their biblical responsibility before God to be faithful to Israel and the Jewish community.
For too long Christians have been silent. For too long the Jewish community has had to fight its battles alone. It is time Christian individuals and congregations speak up for the people who gave us the Bible.
Often you will one of their publications, Dispatch from Jerusalem, in the lobby. Visit their website form more information.
Mission: The Community Cafe strives to improve the food security of the Sedalia and Pettis County communities by providing nutritious meals to combat hunger and malnutrition through community partnerships.
History: In 2006, Kristen Allcorn, a Smith-Cotton High School student, visited a soup kitchen in Kansas City, Missouri. Touched by the need, Kristen felt called to bring the service to her own community where she also witnessed great need and food insecurity. Later that year, Kristen and some friends began serving an evening meal one night a week. After a successful start, the students expanded to two nights a week and then five. Today, the Community Cafe has served over 75,000 meals to the members of the Sedalia and Pettis County communities and continues to be run by high school students.
Liberty Life Center supports the café by preparing and serving the dinner meal the second Tuesday of the month. Linda Rhoads and Donna Sawford serve as the primary contacts working with a host of others.
Our vision is a community of resilient and virtuous people whose lives have been redeemed and restored by God’s love, and who share that love with others to transform and restore lives to wholeness.
The Embassy is advancing the Kingdom of Christ by equipping, restoring, and empowering broken people who have seen a glimpse of hope.
